Do you want to enjoy an untouched part of the mountain where not many people set foot during a season? Do you feel confident in your skiing but have never tried a summit tour? Then this is the perfect activity! In a nutshell, a summit tour involves hiking up the mountain with skis on your feet and then skiing down into untouched snow. On this tour, you'll learn how to mount your climbing skins, find your own pace and hopefully even master a kick turn! Our guide will take you on an out-of-this-world nature experience and give you tips along the way. A fika on the go makes the tour magical.

If you're a relatively experienced skier who feels confident in your skiing and wants to try the off-piste glide, this tour is for you!
You should be comfortable skiing on red slopes and be able to do this without major difficulties. The tour requires normal physical ability as a large part of the adventure involves hiking up the mountain with skis on your feet. We make the ascent at a leisurely pace and enjoy the surroundings and the journey!
When we have reached the top, we catch our breath to fantastic views before we take off our crampons and start the descent. We mainly ski in untouched snow and will go through varying parts with both forest, plateaus and different slopes. We ride in a group and take the ride at a calm and nice pace!
You provide yourself with ski clothes and a helmet. Helmet is a requirement!
We recommend bringing a small backpack for small items and supplies that may be needed during the tour. Much can be left in our bus, such as a change of clothes and shoes. Dress according to the prevailing weather and temperature. Layering is the key to being comfortable during the various stages of the tour, which range from low to high physical exertion.
Ski touring equipment such as skis, boots, poles and stirrups can be rented. These are collected at the start of the tour and pre-booked by More Activities. We will need to know your height and shoe size. The price per person is then 1250 SEK/person.
We meet outside Kaisers Skidbod in Stöten at the specified time (tour start). The tour begins with us going in together and picking up skis, boots, poles and stirrups. Then we take our bus to a place that suits the day's weather conditions and other conditions, such as the group's skiing experience.
Children are welcome on the tour provided they meet the above requirements and that suitable equipment is available for hire. Please contact us!
